TSX.V: ESPN team built and sold $1Billion mining firm in previous project & Copper just hit a 2-year High!

May 14, 2024

Hello Traders!

TSX.V: ESPN may not remain a hidden gem for long, here is what you need to know:

Copper prices just skyrocketed to hit a 2-year High!

There’s a reason why three of the richest men on the planet, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Jack Ma are investing in copper...

Green energy initiatives are catapulting copper into a central role in everything from solar and wind energy to electric vehicles and smart grids.

And meeting Net-Zero emission targets could double annual copper production!

Copper is the #2 most highly conductive metal (and far less expensive than #1 Silver), but just how reliant are the world’s current green energy initiatives on the red metal?

According to CarbonCredits.com, the answer is simple- very:

And of course, we have the net zero carbon emission target set for 2035:

Meeting net zero carbon emission targets by 2035 would likely require doubling annual copper demand to 50 million metric tons, as estimated by an industry-backed study by S&P Global.

All this has led to Goldman Sachs estimating that addressing an expected annual supply shortfall of 8 million tons over the next decade would require the industry to invest $150 billion.

We mention all of this because we have our eyes on TSX.V: ESPN this week, a junior mining company that has been flying under-the-radar despite holding three world-class projects with multiple critical minerals including copper.

Hispania Resources (TSX.V: ESPN) is a copper explorer you should learn about at this early stage.

And it must be pointed out- the company’s leadership team includes members who were responsible for the founding and building of Iberian Minerals- a company sold to Trafigura for just under $1Billion.

Meaning they know how to create value, and when you have guys like Gates, Bezos and Ma looking, that can be very important.

To be clear, TSX.V: ESPN has three critical minerals that are needed for the advancement of not only the green economy but the digital as well- and those three minerals are hosted in three promising assets.

And all three, Copper, Zinc and Tin, have bright futures in the emerging green and digital economy:

At the moment, TSX.V: ESPN has been flying under-the-radar, seeing light only activity- but with three core assets hosting critical minerals things could potentially change, and quickly.

This could be a ground floor situation well worth your time- before we go any further let’s step back for a moment and introduce you to today’s featured company, you’ll want to keep your eyes on Hispania Resources Inc. (TSX.V: ESPN)

Today’s Mega “Critical Minerals” Focus is

Fact Sheet

In their own words: “Hispania Resources is a mineral exploration company focused on mining opportunities in Spain. Hispania is currently focused on developing three core assets across Spain, including the copper, zinc project Otero, the formerly producing tin project Lumbrales and the copper, zinc Puebla de la Reina project. The management of Hispania contains industry veterans who have more than 120 years of mineral exploration and production experience in multiple jurisdictions and have successfully managed multiple international mining companies. This includes in Spain, where some of the team was responsible for the founding and building of Iberian Minerals with the continued support of the local and regional governments, including the well-developed and sophisticated transportation and mining infrastructure.”

A closer look at TSX.V: ESPN and their three core assets

All of Hispania’s core assets focus on critical and strategic metals; this includes Copper, Zinc and other base metals at Otero and Puebla de la Reina, as well as Tin and base metals at Lumbrales

Additionally, all three projects are located in easily accessible areas with local infrastructure all built out - including road; highways; power and water, as well as logistical proximity to supply and employment resources. The two provinces the assets are in, are two of the three most mining friendly and pro mining in all of Spain.

The Otero Permit

Hispania’s most advanced project is Otero, located in Castille y Leon, was recently acquired from Siemcalsa, a corporation owned by the administration of Castille y Leon. This property has a mining permit good until 2042 and hosts a Cu-Sn-Zn-Au-W polymetallic skarn deposit.

Metallurgical work carried out by the former owner showed good recoveries of: Cu (88%) Zn (89.7%) Ag (68.1%) WO3 by flotation.

The Herraris Permit in Puebla de la Reina

The Herrerias Permit is a 9,600 Hectare property located in Extremadura province approximately 150 km southwest of Madrid and 120km from Seville and contains the Puebla de la Reina prospect (“PBR”).

The PBR deposit represents a typical Cu-Zn-Pb volcanic- hosted massive sulphide ore body. It was discovered by IGME (the National Institute of Mining and Geology in Spain) in 1981 and consists of several stratiform lenses up to 9m thick and 150m long set in syn-Cadomian felsic volcaniclastic sandstones and massive dacites.

Outokumpu, a global leader in sustainable stainless steel, held the property from 1999-2001 and indicated a provisional estimated resource:
500,000t @ 1.6% Cu, 11% Zn, 1.2% Pb and 32g/t Ag

The Lumbrales Permit

The 2,900 Hectare Lumbrales Permit contains the former Mari Tere mine and two other artisanal tin prospects situated in Castille, about 115 km west of Salamanca, driven to on paved roads and highways. The property is 20 km away from a current Tungsten open pit mining operation. The former producer Mari Tera, has existing infrastructure, ramp and shafts in place.

As per Resource work by Siemcalsa, there was an estimated resource of 3 million tons of 0.25% tin and 100 ppm Molybdenum at the time of operating mine closure.
An additional 2 million ton exploration potential exists.
